What we do
We publish hands-on reviews of backyard bird-feeding equipment. Every feeder we write about is hung in a real garden, filled with real nectar and cleaned on a real schedule, because almost everything that matters about a feeder only shows up after three weeks of use.
How we test
One hook, one location, one nectar recipe. We record time to first visitor, simultaneous birds, territorial chasing, insect intrusion, leak behaviour and refill time. Scores weight bird traffic and cleaning effort most heavily.
How we handle prices and data
Prices, ratings, review counts and availability are read from retailer listings on a stated date and can change at any time. When two independent checks disagree on a price, we omit the figure and send you to the listing instead of guessing. We never invent a specification.
How we make money
